Kanha National Park

This national park inspired us to initiate our journey into the wild. With every visit, the jungle never fails to amaze us and comes alive, welcoming us with new surprises. The Tigers share their home with sloth bears, Gaur, jackals, wild dogs, hyenas, wolves, nilgai, a variety of deer and snakes as well as some amazing species of birds. It also the only home to the “Barasingha” (Swamp deer) in Central India.

Kanha National Park is divided into Four zones-  Kanha, Kisli, Sarhi and Mukki.  Each zone has different and has its own unique experience.  There are lots of jungle lodges situated in each zone.  The one we recommend is the Chitvan Jungle Lodge.

The national park is open to tourists from mid-October to the end of June. Safari permits get sold out very quickly, hence it is advisable to book well in advance.
