Pench National Park

Pench Tiger Reserve with its wondrous beauty inspired Rudyard Kipling’s most famous work, “The Jungle Book”. Located on the southern boundary of Madhya Pradesh in the districts of Seoni and Chhindwara, the reserve is named after the Pench river that flows through it. The fairly open landscape with grasslands is perfect for viewing its diverse wildlife.

The reserve is spread among two states – one part falls in the state of Maharashtra and the other falls in Madhya Pradesh.  Pench, Madhya Pradesh is the more popular part of the reserve and hence booking safaris in advance is essential.
