Tadoba – Andhari Tiger Reserve

Tadoba – Andhari Tiger Reserve with its pristine ecosystem and numerous legends makes it one of India’s prominent Tiger Reserve.  Located in the Chandrapur district of the state of Maharashtra, the Reserve derives its name from the tribal God  “Taru” and the Andhari river that flows through it.

Frequent sightings of the Tiger have been observed. Many other animals like the Leopard, Wild Dogs, Sloth Bear, Rusty Spotted Cat, Indian Mouse Deer , Spotted Deer, Sambar, Flying Squirrel can also be seen.  The Reserve also has over 195 species of Birds.

4 Days / 3 Nights  – 5 Safaris

Day 1
Arrive at the nearest airport or the nearest railway station and drive to lodge.  Enjoy your lunch and leave for the afternoon safari drive.  Return to the lodge and enjoy your dinner.

Safaris: Afternoon Safari

Day 2
Wake up and leave for your morning safari drive. Enjoy your breakfast in the jungle which will be packed for you on the drive.  Return to the lodge and rest before your next drive.  Enjoy your lunch and leave for the afternoon safari drive.  Return to the lodge and enjoy your dinner.

Day 3
Wake up and leave for your morning safari drive. Enjoy your breakfast in the jungle which will be packed for you on the drive.  Return to the lodge and rest before your next drive.  Enjoy your lunch and leave for the afternoon safari drive.  Return to the lodge and enjoy your dinner.

Day 4
Wake up and enjoy your breakfast at the lodge.  Get ready and drive back to the nearest airport or railway station

  • The park is open from the 16th of October to the 30th of June every year.
  • There are only a limited number of safari permits available.  Hence it is advisable to book in well in advance.
  • The Park fees & rules are subject to change without prior notice.
  • Camera fees as applicable will have to be paid directly at the gate.
  • As a government law, a copy of your identification proof will be required to reserve safaris.
  • As a government law, Tadoba is a dry area and hence no alcohol will be permitted.
  • As a government law, you will be required to carry your Original Identification proof during safaris.
  • The park will no longer remain shut on Tuesdays.
