Velavadar – Blackbuck National Park

The Blackbuck National Park, was created in 1976, to provide a safe area are for the critically endangered Blackbuck to dwell in. Spread over 34 square kilometres of flat lands and dry grasslands, it is also home to the Indian Wolf, the Indian Striped Hyena, Foxes, Jackals, Jungle Cats and various species of rare and migratory birds. Come and experience the grace and elegance of the blackbuck in the rustic beauty of this national park.  

Nearest Airport:  Bhavnagar

Alternatively there are frequent flights to Ahmedabad which is also well connected by road to the national park.

3 Days / 2 Nights  – 2 Safaris

Day 1
Arrive at the nearest airport or the nearest railway station and drive to lodge.  Rest day
Meals: Lunch & Dinner

Day 2
Wake up and leave for your morning safari drive. Return to the and enjoy your breakfast.  Enjoy your lunch and leave for the afternoon safari drive.  Return to the lodge and enjoy your dinner.

Safaris: Morning & Afternoon Safari

Day 3
Wake up and enjoy your breakfast at the lodge.  Get ready and drive back to the nearest airport or railway station

  • The Park fees & rules are subject to change without prior notice.
  • As a government law, a copy of your identification proof will be required to reserve safaris.
  • As a government law, you will be required to carry your Original Identification proof during safaris.
